Luppichat isn't a translator. It's a teacher that lives in the chats they already have: shows them in Spanish, corrects before sending and explains the mistake in English. Their friends get it in English, without installing anything.
$16.90 a month, or $11.83 per person as a family. Teacher included, every day.
The family panel shows, day by day, how many minutes your kid spent learning and how long they used plain WhatsApp. With that number, the deal is easy: more WhatsApp, as long as it's through Luppichat.
In the chats they already have, with their usual friends. Not another drill app they quit after a week.
Talks about their day, remembers what they shared and works on the mistakes they repeat. Kids practice school subjects; teens practice slang and their own topics.
If they got it wrong, the app shows the right way and explains why, in their own language.
Don't know a word? Tap it to see just that word, without spoiling the rest.
Every message can be read aloud. At higher levels, they learn by listening first.
Parents and kids leveling up together. Points only come from real learning.
No weekly reports. When something is worth knowing, you get a note on your phone.
Sam said they really want new headphones. That could become a goal: reach level 5.
Fractions are hard right now. We talked about them in Spanish today and I'll pick it up again tomorrow.
Sam reached level 5. Your deal: the new headphones.
If they share something sensitive in a lesson, the teacher doesn't pass on details, it just suggests you talk.
It starts with English underneath. When they read without asking for a translation and write without mistakes, the app tightens up. Going up is hard and falling is rare: it's a game. Not sure where to start? The 2-minute test tells the level.
Spanish with English underneath. They can write in English and see how it looks.
Keeps a conversation going without asking for translations all the time.
Follows a group chat in Spanish, with few mistakes.
Native-level Spanish, slang included, understanding by ear.
Cancel anytime in the app.
No. Their chats stay private. You see progress, screen time, teacher lessons and teacher notes. Your kid is told that you can see the lessons.
We count the minutes in which they sent or read messages directly in WhatsApp, not through Luppichat. It's an estimate: calls and videos aren't included, and message content is never looked at.
No. They use regular WhatsApp and get messages in their own language, from the usual number. The first message to each person carries a small note that it was written with Luppichat's help (it can be turned off).
No. 30 teacher replies a day are included in both plans and don't count toward translations. To keep talking the same day, use prepaid credit.
13 languages, in any direction. For different scripts, like Korean or Japanese, there's an alphabet screen with sound.
Yes. In the app, under Family, you create a kid account and they sign in with a code, no phone number. They only chat with people you approve: you, other adults who use Luppichat, and other kids (whose parent also approves). It has the teacher, a bedtime and buttons to block and report; if they use them, you're notified.
No. Nobody on our team reads them. Only messages that get translated go through the AI, and only to translate and correct. Messages that aren't translated never go to the AI or to anyone. Nothing is used for ads and we never sell data.
They're stored on our server scrambled, with a separate key for each person: anyone copying the files can't read them. For regular chats we keep only the last few days. Chats between two Luppichat users are kept while both accounts exist, so they open instantly. See the privacy policy.
Luppichat uses the same mechanism as WhatsApp Web, but it isn't an official Meta product. In rare cases WhatsApp may disconnect the device; just link it again.
